I am taking requests. If you’d like to see a song mangled by myself, give me a shout. I had to move again. Sorry for the camera angle, but the cord is too short to the computer.
I finally have gotten around to using the Emu 6400’s Highpass filter. Its not too bad.
DW-8000 is sounding old and rumbly and has that 70’s shriek today.
This is a test of an ARP Odyssey MKI that I’m servicing / restoring . On this video I’m checking the control inputs CV/Gate/Trigger. The ARP Odyssey MKI doesn’t have the control inputs that were added on later versions. With the addition of these inputs you can control the synth with an analog sequencer or MDI / CV converter.
On this video the synth is been controlled by a MFOS Analog Step Sequencer
a quick jam on my new nord rack 2x … it has a pretty stunning sound … all sounds are from the rack 2x going trough the lexicon except the drums from the machinedrum
sounds kinda sad and boring but somehow I like this preset a lot… very mellow and calming 2 sawtooth oscillators and one is detuned +7 semitones… brings up lots of harmonic overtones…
Just two short pieces this time The Ach Was Soll Ich Sünder Machen choral prelude. And a new version of “O Jesulein Süß”. The former is played on the Access Virus TI synth, the latter on the Nord Lead 2X. They are in two very different styles - the choral prelude is a fast staccato piece, whereas the SATB choral has a more sustained, ethereal feel.
This is the final chapter of my little mini modular synthesizer building project. I make some usefull-but-not-crucial modules: A pedal, a PWM unit, an amplifier, and a power distribution system.
Again the music in this video is made on the Elka X-1000 organ - this time with a little help from the Technics SX-C600.
has a 3D Sensor, so this is not a fake, very close to the Spectralis - very HiEnd and fine sounding 3 OSC, 2 Filter Sound Engine with Modulation Sequencer.
